For too long, women going through perimenopause and menopause have been told their symptoms are “normal,” “nothing to worry about,” or simply “part of getting older.” And when you’re exhausted, foggy, irritable, or not feeling like yourself, that kind of dismissal can leave you feeling alone and unheard.
You deserve to understand your body, feel heard, and access evidence-based treatments that truly improve your quality of life. Here at the Westrick Clinic, our NP’s role is to guide you with clarity and compassion so you can reclaim your energy, confidence, and wellbeing. We embrace this stage of life, helping you with the right tools and support.
In Alberta, the public health system covers a lot, but it can’t cover everything and wait times are long. That’s where The Westrick Clinic, based in Lacombe, AB. steps in with more time for real conversations. By choosing a concierge-style experience, with our Nurse Practitioner you unlock care on your terms – getting to know you and understanding your needs.
Specializing in HRT (hormone replacement therapy), a crucial role to navigating midlife and hormonal changes.
Over 25 years of medical experience across Canada and the United States, from remote clinics in coastal BC to Stanford Medical Center, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in every setting.
This isn’t about replacing your Alberta Health Care coverage, it’s about enhancing it. Here’s what you need to know:
In Alberta, private clinics can offer primary care services outside of the publicly funded system for services that are and are not covered by Alberta Health. (A value add, not a replacement for family doctor.) Our services focus on extended consults, proactive care, wellness services. You are not paying twice, you’re paying for premium access, longer appointment times, and enhanced services.
As with any healthcare provider, you’ll complete a new patient intake form and informed consent for any treatments. Your records are private and securely stored under Alberta’s Health Information Act (HIA).
You will not be billed through Alberta Health Services for these visits. All costs are transparent and discussed upfront. We provide clear receipts, and your payments go directly to the clinic.
