Q Is Lacombe worth the drive from Edmonton / Calgary / Red Deer?

Q What does the downtime actually look like?

You will have small brown dot-like marks (like tiny freckles) in the treated area for 4–10 days. Most people return to work the next day. Plan to avoid heavy exercise and direct sun for one week. Swelling around the eyes, if treated, settles within 48–72 hours.

Q Does it hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied 30–45 minutes before treatment. Most patients feel warmth and mild sensation — not pain. Tracy McNutt said "no pain." M. Smith said "no pain." Sue has performed this treatment many times and her patients' experiences reflect that consistently.

Q How long is a treatment session?

Sue West RN will apply a compound topical to the treated areas before beginning the procedure. Depending on the area treated, you can expect anywhere from 30–90 minutes for a full treatment session.

PLEXR uses plasma energy and is one of very few plasma technologies to be Health Canada approved. We recommend two treatments for most scenarios, depending on the area treated.

Q What happens post treatment?

Slight swelling or redness may occur temporarily. There is minimal downtime required after treatment — clients can return to their normal daily routines as soon as they feel comfortable.

You will receive a Treatment Box Kit that includes wipes, cream, and a high quality healing foundation to cover everything you need to restore the treated area.

Q How is PLEXR different from a laser?

PLEXR uses plasma energy — ionised air — not light. This gives more precision, less thermal spread to surrounding tissue, and the ability to treat areas like the eyelid margin where lasers cannot safely go. You get more targeted lift with less overall trauma to the skin.
