And what’s really going on might not be what you think.
Hair thinning. Changes in energy. Sleep. Hormonal changes. Sexual health. Aging. What you notice on the outside can sometimes be part of a much bigger health conversation.
Darren Brown brings more than 20 years of experience working within the medical industry, including his career with Pfizer in Vaccines and Infectious Diseases. That experience has given him a deep knowledge base and a unique perspective on the importance of asking better questions about our health.
Join Darren and hear more around men’s health, hair thinning and the science behind some of the options available today and get your questions answered and leave more informed.
Snoring. Pelvic floor & core strength. CPAP discomfort. Constant phlegm. Sciatic pain. Gout. Tightness through the chest or difficulty taking a deep breath. These aren’t necessarily things most men think to bring up with a massage therapist, but they can be part of a much bigger conversation about how the body is moving, compensating and holding tension.
Leanne Pruden, RMT, VTT will talk about the things men see her for, but often don’t even know to ask about, including diaphragm release, breathing mechanics, chronic tension and hands-on approaches that may help the body move and function better.
Sometimes the thing that’s annoying you isn’t where the problem starts.
The pelvic floor is part of your core system. These muscles help support the bladder and bowel and work together with the abdominal muscles, diaphragm and back to contribute to continence, stability and everyday function.
And like other muscles, pelvic floor function can change with age, health, surgery, activity levels and other factors. For some men, the first signs may be subtle; urinary urgency, getting up more frequently at night, leaking with a cough or movement, or changes following prostate treatment or surgery.
It’s the part of your core you can’t see but rely on every day.Sue shares what she’s learned from conversations with men experiencing these changes and creates a comfortable, private space to talk about the things that aren’t always easy to bring up.

Thinning hair, receding areas and changes in density can happen gradually until suddenly they become obvious. Options designed to support existing follicles and improve the environment for healthier hair growth.
Interrupted sleep isn’t always a sleep problem.
Nighttime bathroom trips, urgency, post-urination dribbling, ED … those changes in pelvic floor function are things many men quietly accommodate instead of asking about. There are non-invasive options worth knowing about. Nobody is going to ask anyone to stand up and talk about their bladder.
This evening is about education. Come in. Have a drink ( beer or wine) & appie. Listen. Ask a question if you want to. Speak privately with our clinical team if there’s something you’d rather not ask in front of anyone else.
What is discussed privately at Westrick stays private.
